A small set of useful tools
We keep the calculator ahead of the explanation. Inputs stay editable, the result changes as you type, and the calculation method is available below it. Copying, CSV exports and printing are free. Selected tools can optionally estimate gross earnings before tax from worked hours and an hourly rate.

How the work is checked
The calculation functions use whole minutes. Tests cover break deductions, midnight, overlapping shifts, conversions and optional gross-earnings rounding. Worked examples explain the same rules. Tests reduce the risk of mistakes; they are not a guarantee that every device or circumstance is covered.
How this is funded
These tools are free. Advertising is planned as a way to fund the site, but no advertising or visitor-analytics scripts are active in this release. A verification tag for an advertising application, when present, does not itself display ads. Any future advertising will require updated disclosures and appropriate consent settings.
Arithmetic, not payroll advice
The optional earnings feature multiplies calculated hours by the hourly rate you enter and labels the result gross, before tax. It does not calculate tax, deductions, take-home pay, overtime entitlements or legal break requirements. The tools do not verify attendance. Read the method and limitations before using a result in an important record.
