Your weekly time card

One week or two. Add your shifts, check your hours, keep a copy.

THE EVERYDAY TIME TOOLKIT

Exact minutes. No payroll rounding. Clock changes and time zones are not included.

Build a weekly or biweekly time card

Choose a one-week or two-week period. Each row records a day, start, finish and unpaid break. Use a second row for a split shift on the same day, or add a row for another workday. Rows can be removed individually. Times crossing midnight require the Ends next day checkbox.

Start with an empty card or load the example. The example contains five shifts from 09:00 to 17:30 with a 30-minute unpaid break each, totalling 40 hours. It is sample data, not a record of your work.

Exact totals before rounding

Every valid shift is calculated in whole minutes. The calculator adds those minutes first and divides the total by 60 only for display. Three 20-minute shifts therefore total exactly one hour, even though a two-decimal display would show 0.33 hours for each separate shift.

Split shifts, overlaps and two-week totals

A morning shift from 08:00 to 12:00 plus an afternoon shift from 13:00 to 17:00 totals eight hours. The gap is not worked time and should not also be deducted as a break. Overlapping clock intervals are rejected to prevent double-counting. Overnight shifts are allocated entirely to the day on which they start; this is not a legal payroll allocation rule.

Two-week cards show each week's total separately. The optional earnings estimate is gross before tax only; this version does not calculate overtime, deductions, take-home pay or legal entitlements. Keep your employer's official time records and confirm their rules separately.

Keep a copy without an account

Export CSV for a spreadsheet, copy the total, or use the browser's print dialog to print or save as PDF. CSV includes exact net minutes and decimal hours to four places. Saving in this browser is optional and is not a backup: clearing site data or changing devices can remove access. Do not enable it on a shared computer.
