The calculators are designed to work with a keyboard, labelled form controls and visible focus indicators. Results update without a page reload. Errors are shown in text, not only by colour.
Using a keyboard
Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between controls. The first link skips directly to the main content. Entering values updates the result; there is no required Calculate button. The mobile tool selector changes pages when an option is chosen.
Reading results
Clock-out and break-return results include 12-hour and 24-hour forms. Invalid input clears the previous result instead of leaving a number that could be mistaken for a valid calculation.
Adjusting the display
The layout adapts to narrower screens and browser zoom. Reduced-motion preferences disable smooth scrolling. Print layouts remove navigation and retain the relevant calculation or reference table.
Known limitations
Native time inputs differ between browsers and assistive technologies. Automated checks do not establish complete accessibility conformance. Real-device and assistive-technology feedback is welcome through Contact.
